University of Nairobi Now ISO Certified
The University of Nairobi (UoN) celebrated the award of ISO 9001 - 2000 Quality Management System (QMS) standard on Thursday 7th of August 2008 after a journey that began in the year 2006. The process involved various stages with different activities spread over the three-year period. The award was officially presented to the Vice-Chancellor Prof. George Magoha by the Managing Director, Kenya Bureau of Standards, Eng Kioko Mang'eli in an elaborate function that included the Minister for Higher Education Science and Technology, Dr. Sally Kosgei as the Chief Guest.
