The Commission for University Education undertook a confirmatory audit of the Koitalel Samoei University College, Mosoriot Campus, on February 22, 2018.

Koitalel Samoei University College is a constituent college of the University of Nairobi. This is a follow-up of an earlier visit to inspect the facilities at the campus as it walks the journey towards accreditation. The CUE audit team was led by the Deputy Commission Secretary, Prof. Grace Njoroge.
Guided by the Universities Standards and Guidelines 2014, the CUE team reviewed the adequacy of the Campus in terms of physical, human, library, ICT and financial resources, as well as viability of the selected academic programmes and sound governance structure. The team was impressed by the progress since their last visit. The commission challenged the University of Nairobi to come up with sports related courses as a special niche for Koitaleel Samoei University.  The close-out meeting specified what was required to be completed upon which the campus will get registration.
The University of Nairobi team was led by Prof. Peter Ngau, Principal, College of Architecture and Engineering and comprised Prof. James Njehia Dean, School of Business, Prof Winston Akala, Dean, School of Education, Mr. Christopher Moturi, Director, ICTC and Prof. Gideon Misoi, School of Engineering.
