Introduction

The Centre for International Programmes and Links is the unit in the University of Nairobi , charged with the responsibility of initiating, promoting, facilitating and coordinating international programmes and links, staff and student exchanges and mobility, collaborative research projects and worldwide networking.

It is within this perspective that the University Senate established the Centre for International Programmes and Links in November 2002 with a view to enhance building relationships with other world-class universities, ranging from the Far East to Europe and America . The University of Nairobi continues to strengthen ties with fellow institutions in the region and other parts of the African continent. The University recognizes that an education with an international stamp is necessary to equip students with the knowledge and skills for their survival and growth, in a competitive labour market.
