Center For International Programmes & Links
Introduction
The Centre for International Programmes and Links is the unit in the University of Nairobi , charged with the responsibility of initiating, promoting, facilitating and coordinating international programmes and links, staff and student exchanges and mobility, collaborative research projects and worldwide networking.
The University of Nairobi is committed to being a world-class University, offering its students an education of the highest quality. It is recognized internationally for its academic excellence and extensive research activities. It is within this perspective that the University Senate established the Centre for International Programmes and Links in November 2002 with a view to enhance building relationships with other world-class universities, ranging from the Far East to Europe and America . The University of Nairobi continues to strengthen ties with fellow institutions in the region and other parts of the African continent. The University recognizes that an education with an international stamp is necessary to equip students with the knowledge and skills for their survival and growth, in a competitive labour market.
Any aspiring scholar who has the opportunity to go through the University of Nairobi becomes part of an urban campus in Nairobi which is the hub and economic powerhouse of Africa . Nairobi is characterized by a vibrant multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment, which creates a stimulating and challenging environment for international interactions.
